Larch plywood is made from high-density, decay-resistant, and durable Siberian larch. This type of plywood is valued for its excellent structural strength, making it ideal not only for common applications such as furniture manufacturing, flooring, and home construction materials but also as a structural plywood in various building projects.
Natural Decay Resistance
Larch grows in high-latitude regions, has a high wood density and is rich in natural resins. This combination of high density and resin content gives the wood outstanding natural decay resistance and structural performance, making it highly resistant to fungi and less prone to rot. Larch plywood offers excellent strength and workability, making it suitable for use as structural plywood in construction materials, residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, including heavy-duty roofing underlays, flooring, furniture, interior decoration, and packing crates.
Applications
Larch is a tree species native to cold and temperate regions, known for its exceptional cold tolerance among coniferous trees, often found at the upper limits of forest distribution. It grows slowly, resulting in high annual ring density. Its color ranges from light yellow to orange-yellow and deepens to golden brown, with a beautiful grain pattern and a soft, lustrous appearance.
