Species Introduction
Brazilian Pine is one of the common pine species in economic forests in southern South America, similar in use and structural properties to American Yellow Pine. In Brazil, it is referred to as "Yellow Pine."
It is suitable for wooden house structures, landscape gardens, balconies, pergolas, commercial space decoration, as well as solid wood furniture and woodworking products.
Production Areas and Distribution
Brazilian Pine, also known as Pinus Elliottii or Pinus Taeda, is primarily distributed in southern South America. Its range includes Brazil, Uruguay, and northern Argentina. This species thrives in subtropical and temperate climates, where it is cultivated in plantations for timber production due to its rapid growth and versatile commercial applications.
